Personal voice assistants have become a key feature on the vast majority of the smartphones available to consumers, and they continue to be adopted as an intelligent, reliable and convenient tool for users looking to complete a myriad of tasks, all by voice. Making a new calendar appointment, checking the traffic and weather, dictating an email message and many other capabilities can be accomplished with a quick voice command to a user’s smartphone.
And it just keeps getting better. Dragon Mobile Assistant’s latest update (version 4.2) now features three new voices: Jessica, Victoria and Jonathan. Now, Dragon will speak back to users in the voice that they feel best represents their personality and lifestyle, resulting in a more personalized two-way dialogue. To select your preferred voice, simply tap ‘Settings,’ followed by ‘General’ and ‘Voice.’ And, through additional performance improvements, Dragon is the most accurate it’s ever been, and faster too!
Dragon Mobile Assistant has also been upgraded with an improved user interface and dynamic menu experience. With a single screen-tap, users can access a convenient slide-out menu on the left side of the screen, which houses some of their device’s most common features – empowering users to quickly and easily complete all of their important tasks.
Nuance’s Dragon Mobile Assistant for Android devices took the personal voice assistant experience to a new level earlier this year, by being the first to introduce proactive assistant features, such as conference call dial-in and automatic engagement of Driver Mode when a car is in motion. And, Dragon was recently named one of TIME Magazine’s ’50 Best Android Apps for 2013’, emerging as one of the premiere personal voice assistant options available to Android consumers.
Dragon Mobile Assistant version 4.2 is available now for free in the Google Play Store.
