The lineup at Mobile World Congress this week demonstrates the continued explosion in quantity and sophistication of devices and consumer electronics. Smart TVs can now access on demand and streaming content; smartphones and tablets can automatically leverage applications like Yelp and OpenTable; connected cars and PCs can stream music from Pandora or Spotify – all through Nuance Cloud Services. And, through this connected network, the intelligent virtual assistant capabilities of these devices are able learn, adapt to, and even predict our preferences over time.
