Sales reps are busy, busy people. They are often on the go, spending the majority of their time on the road meeting with clients and potential customers. Customer relations management (CRM) systems exist to help sales reps do their job effectively- they promise things like increased win rates, better data for sales operations and management, and most importantly improved revenue – but all of this is dependent on the reps themselves entering data . Unfortunately these systems not only tie a rep to his or her desk, but they also create an additional hassle when it comes to entering information.
Oracle wanted to transform the current CRM experience by developing a solution that made it easy for sales reps to do their job using a tool that is extremely valuable for folks on-the-move: the mobile phone. By partnering with Nuance, Oracle developed a new smartphone app called Oracle Voice, which uses a natural language understanding (NLU) interface to allow people to simply speak to a mobile virtual assistant to complete tasks like document their interactions and update or view opportunities, contacts, notes, and activities. Check out the video to understand how Oracle Voice joins the ranks of other businesses that are using virtual assistants to streamline the mobile experience by revolutionizing day to day responsibilities for sales reps.
We’ll be at the Oracle OpenWorld Conference in San Francisco this week to support our partnership and showcase our mobile virtual assistant and voice biometrics technologies. If you are in attendance, stop by our location to learn more: Moscone West, Level 2 at CX Central.
