HIMSS 2013

With so much changing in healthcare, this year’s HIMSS annual conference  (February 23 – 27, 2014) is bound to be an exciting event.  Since it is only a few weeks away, I am outlining my top three trend predictions for the upcoming show.  Look forward to seeing you there!

1.  We will see an explosion of mobility and use of mobile devices into more useful interactions,

2.  There will be more visual engagement inspired by consumer electronics and wearables,

3.  There will be an explosion of physician education as we near the six-month milestone before ICD-10 goes into effect.

Do you have some #HIMSS14 predictions of your own? Let’s hear them!

Attending HIMSS this year?  Be sure to swing by Nuance booth #3765 and check out some of the solutions and technology we’ll be demoing at the booth!
