We want to thank our clients again for standing with us – your mission is our passion. We are committed to earning your loyalty and to regaining any trust that may have been lost. This loyalty and trust is invaluable as we go forward together.

We take pride in our core values at Nuance: teamwork, transparency, integrity, excellence and compassion. Our overriding focus has been to support our clients in their mission to provide the best patient care. Our commitment to these values and to our clients will always be our highest priority.

These values have guided us as we have worked to support our clients in the wake of the June 27 malware incident. As we complete the restoration of our systems, we want to thank our clients for their patience, partnership and support.

We are inspired by those who stood by us as they navigated their own operations. We’ve had hundreds of client conversations, and have learned from each other as we uncovered new and innovative ways to provide alternative solutions while our systems were being restored. These conversations have strengthened us and our relationships.

As cybercrimes become more sophisticated and prevalent, we must all stand together to protect each other.

There is no doubt that we are emerging from this incident as a stronger, more secure company. We are upgrading our network architecture and enhancing our IT security and policies as part of our recovery efforts. Our sights are now set on moving forward as we continue to strengthen our relationships with the clinicians and patients we serve — and as we continue to develop solutions that improve physician satisfaction and outcomes.

We will remain dedicated to sharing the lessons we have learned in the wake of this incident. And, we believe the insights we have gained will strengthen our current client relationships, as well as result in new relationships.

Satish Maripuri is the executive vice president and general manager of Nuance’s Healthcare division, overseeing all operational aspects of the business, including innovation strategy, product development, marketing, sales, partnerships, and client relationships across the company’s healthcare solutions portfolio. Under Satish’s leadership, Nuance Healthcare returned to growth from a 4% decline to 9% growth within three years. Satish is passionate about the criticality of purpose-driven culture and leadership to drive business growth. He has more than 28 years of management experience in enterprise software, SaaS solutions, natural language processing (NLP), artificial Intelligence (AI), international operations, global mobile workforces, and cloud services. Prior to joining Nuance in 2012, Satish held several executive leadership positions at global technology companies, including Solera Holdings, Lionbridge Technologies, and Imprivata. Satish holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra University and M.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University.
